Amelie Dalle

Amélie Dalle
Having studied, worked and lived in different corners of the country and abroad, Amélie is a dynamic Belgian polyglot. She specialises in communications and business development, and currently works in the pharma sector where she also closely cooperates with patient organisations. Prior to joining JGI Belgium, Amélie was involved in many other volunteering activities, with a particular focus on (youth) empowerment.

Helene de Rengerve

Hélène de Rengervé
A French citizen living in Brussels since 2007, Helene is a fundraising and programme management consultant who has been working with International Human Rights NGOs all around the world for the past 18 years. Helene adheres to Jane Goodall’s vision of building a balanced ecosystem where people, animals and the environment are respected and supported.

Hege Hellstrom

Hege Hellstrom

Hege is a Norwegian who moved to Belgium 28 years ago. She is co-president of the board member and advises on projects and strategy.

What do you do? I have been working in the pharmaceutical /biotech industry for 30 years.

What can you bring to JGI Be? I have during all my career collaborated with patient organizations (NGOs) and helped them to be both more professional in their approach (when needed). I like to work with people and can coordinate teams to successfully achieve a common goal.

What attracted you to JGI Be? I believe JGI Belgium is an organization who has the right attitude and values to improve the environment, the lives of animals and people.

Paul Maassen

Paul Maassen

A Dutch citizen who moved to Belgium in 2009 for love and a job with the World Wildlife Fund, Paul is happily living here with his wife and child working for the Open Government Partnership.

Els Martens

Els Martens
Els has a strong relation with Africa, as she was born and raised in Africa and went back after her Ecology studies to undertake projects with the Kenya Wildlife Service. She worked at the Flemish government as coordinator for European and international nature and biodiversity processes. Through her wealth of experience, she is a strong advocate for succeeding nature conservation through the involvement of local communities and land owners and by educating the youth. An admirer of Dr Jane Goodall for her continous commitment to nature conservation, Els appreciates the approach of JGI Be of combining forest planting projects in Belgium with reforestation actions in Africa. She is honoured and excited to join the multicisciplinary team to keep supporting the understanding and commitment that is needed to preserve nature!

Balazs Nagy

Balazs Nagy
Balazs was born and raised in Hungary and is a proud husband and father of three. He relocated to Belgium in 2006 and has since worked for multinational companies in a variety of financial, accounting, treasury, and international taxation-related roles. Before taking up his current position as Treasurer on the board, Balazs worked with JGI Belgium as a skill-based volunteer for several years. He is passionate about global reforestation efforts and wants to give back to the community by volunteering his time and personally planting trees in Belgium with his family at JGI’s Forest in One Day events.

Guillaume Verger

Guillaume Verger
A French citizen working in Brussels for an environmental commodity trader specialized in emissions trading, Guillaume is fascinated by wildlife and deeply touched by the environmental challenges of today.

Linde Wolters

Linde Wolters
Dutch-born, Brussels raised and life-schooled in a few other countries, Linde lives in Brussels with her partner. Linde was happy to discover the field of social innovation, investing & enterprises six years ago and now combines work for an organisation supporting environmental and social enterprises in developing countries with volunteering for local organisations.
