cop15 logoAt this moment COP15 Biodiversity is negotiating a new international agreement, the Global Biodiversity Framework, containing a series of goals and targets, as well as financial commitments and details on implementation, to tackle nature loss this decade. This COP is a landmark global moment for world leaders to adopt an ambitious plan to implement broad-based action for nature restoration and conservation and for transition of our societies’ relationship with biodiversity by 2030 and for ensuring the United Nations’ vision for living in harmony with nature by 2050 is fulfilled. This reflects also Dr. Jane Goodalls’ vision in the message to COP15 from the Jane Goodall Institute asking for a game-changing and robust global deal to reverse the loss of nature.
