In everyday life, 34-years old Louis-Philippe Loncke is an IT expert. But it is as an explorer that he is most well known. During the past five years, he has carried out several world first solo expeditions mainly in Australia and Iceland. He is a member of the Explorer's club, based in New-York. More recently he decided to spend his week-ends touring his native Belgium is the most original way: on the waterways. He started off in his kayak on July 9th from Brussels and on September 18th, he'll paddle the last stretch, arriving in Oostend. He recently became a Jane Goodall's Roots&Shoots ambassador.
