Block your agenda for Forest in One Day!

Our annual forest planting event, creating an ecosystem, attracting wildlife and bringing together the local community is the perfect example of how the Jane Goodall Institute Belgium team of volunteers and sponsors work to bring to life Jane Goodall’s dream to live in harmony with nature. It joins people of all ages and cultures to create a forest in one day.

This year, we will not plant 1 but 3 forests in one day!

It will be the first time we plant trees under our partnership with Luminus and our forestry partners Bosgroep Limburg, Bosgroepen Oost-Vlaanderen, SylvaNova and Faune&Biotopes (in Wallonia), in three different locations in Belgium:
🌳 Hoeselt in Limburg
🌳 Waasmunster in Oost-Vlaanderen
🌳 Tinlot in the region of Liege

We are planning to plant in total 18.000 trees in the 3 locations!

For every tree planted in Belgium, several trees are planted in Africa.

We invite you to sponsor a tree and join us to plant it together.
More information about our forest planting activities can be found here.

We are very excited to have Jane visiting Belgium again after one year!

After the huge success of the 2019 visit Jane has decided she wants to come back to Belgium in 2020, and for 3 days!

As you can imagine, many interesting events and activities are going to take place these 3 days so stay tuned for more information.
