Reasons for Hope, an evening with Dr. Jane Goodall

We are delighted to advise you that our founder, the legendary Jane Goodall, is returning to Belgium in March 2019 and is turning 85!

Through almost 60 years of groundbreaking work, Dr. Goodall is best known for her study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees since she first went to Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania in 1960. Today she travels around the world, speaking about the threats facing chimpanzees, environmental crises and her reasons for hope.

To mark Dr. Goodall’s return to Belgium, her commemorative birthday and our partnership with Koen Timmers, a Belgian teacher, author, keynote speaker and founder of the Innovation Lab Schools Project, the Jane Goodall Institute Belgium warmly invites you to an exclusive gala dinner and art auction.

We are also most fortunate to once again have the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Esmeralda of Belgium who will be attending the event.

Thanks to our partner John Martin, the event will take place on Saturday, 16th March 2019 at the beautiful Martin’s Chateau du Lac in Genval.

All proceeds will go to the JGI community conservation project in Senegal and the Innovation Lab Schools Project.
